The E.ON Rhurgas IBU World Cup Biathlon in Östersund welcomes everyone to the event.
Our ambition is that the stadium will, as far as possible, be accessible for all, so we are continually working to help those will limited mobility or any other disability with assistance and information about the best way to once agian make the Biathlon festivities to a great celebration of sport.
Below is information that may be useful to know before arriving at the event.
We provide assistance for disabled visitors or those with special needs
We have trained staff who are accustomed to dealing with these situations and will ensure that you have a great experience with respect for your dignity and comfort.
The help you will receive could vary from someone going to buy you food between races or assistance with visiting the toilets, provide assistance on arrival and for further transport to the stands.
Tickets
The same ticket prices apply to the disabled and assistants as for other spectators.

Stadium seating/stands
There is a special area for wheelchairs on the spectator stands right in front of the shooting range. There is space for the wheelchair and an assistant. However, the number of wheelchair spaces is limited, so they will be allocated on a first com, first served basis.
A day at the stadium is outdoors and there will be long periods of sitting still. Make sure you have enough clothing. There will be a limited number of blankets available.
Wireless hearing system
At the spectator stands there is a also a wireless hearing system.
Parkering
There will be places for disabled parking at the arena at the Arctura parking. Entrance to the Arctura parking is from ÖSK-road.
As usual, a special permit is necessary for these parking facilities. From here, you will be welcomed by the disability group who will either guide you down to the arena or make sure that you and your wheelchair gets to the stands.
